Terms of Service
By using Kinma, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
Kinma is a virtual pet app: you feed your pet by photographing real meals, and grow it socially by checking in to shared "tables" with other people. Food recognition is approximate and provided for entertainment purposes - don't rely on it for allergy, medical, or nutritional decisions.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must be old enough to use this app under the laws of your country, and in any case not under 13.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate someone else or misrepresent who was at a table with you.
Acceptable use
Don't use Kinma to:
- Upload photos that aren't yours to share, or that are illegal, abusive, or sexually explicit.
- Harass, impersonate, or misrepresent other users.
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use the service for anything illegal.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
Content you upload
You keep ownership of your photos and content. By uploading them, you give Kinma permission to store and process them (including sending meal photos to Anthropic's API) in order to provide the app's features to you and, for table/social features, to the people you've shared a table with.
No warranty
Kinma is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that food recognition will always be accurate. Use it at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinma and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
